Text Box: Throughout many historical prophecies, reference is made to the ‘end of days’. This is predicted to be a time when mankind reaches a pinnacle, and serious choices are made. While some see these prophecies as doom and gloom, they could also portend a major shift of our planet and species towards a glorious future. Perhaps the end of days is like the end of school, where we graduate to the next level.

As Tropical Storm Wilma closes in on the Cayman Islands, our year of terrestrial shift continues. The next storm will be named Alpha, and for the first time in recorded history, the Atlantic storms are named after the Greek alphabet.

Beginning last Christmas, the effects of the tsunami shook the world for weeks. Huge tectonic plates changed position, and according to seismologists, ‘the event created the longest fault rupture and the longest duration of faulting ever observed’. The earthquake lasted at least ten minutes, and created a gash in the seabed almost 800 miles long. The Richter scale magnitude was measured at 9.3.

Hurricane Katrina brought into our reality the legend of the sunken city, and we became aware of corpses floating through neighborhoods. As news coverage searched for stories 24/7, the devastation of nature became a reality fed by the most powerful media force in the world.

Hurricane Stan caused mudslides in Guatamala, and a village populated by Mayan Indians, survivors for millennia, was completely buried. Officials have declared the village unsafe for recovery of 1400 bodies, and the ground has been consecrated as a cemetery. The village of Panabaj has become the new Pompeii.

The latest earthquake in Pakistan and India was of magnitude 7.6, especially significant as it occurred in the mountain region, far inland from the usual fault lines. There were aftershocks with magnitude larger than six, which is quite rare. In the days following the initial earthquake, more than 150 aftershock incidents were registered, and scientists predict that Pakistan could feel aftershocks for months.

There have been ten major earthquakes this year, with magnitudes greater than seven. The largest rated 8.7 on March 28 in Sumatra, Indonesia, close to the source of last year’s tsunami. What do you think all this vibration is doing to the rest of the earth, and to our own energy?

I read a report that suggested solar flare activity has been at a high level since 2001, and the five-year cycle will continue into 2006. The energy from the solar flares is being absorbed by the planet like a battery, as part of its continuous cycle of regeneration. The shifting we experience is adjustments made by the earth to the new energy, and as temperatures rise, the earth spins faster and vibrations increase. Next year, when the planet has adjusted to its new spin and vibration, and the tectonic plates have been recharged for the next phase, a plateau will be reached and we begin a new chapter of existence.

We now have the opportunity to advance our personal vibration along with the planet. As masses succumb to the peace and beauty that is now here for our enjoyment, we begin to create the paradise that we have always desired. Paradise does not involve everyone being the same, or the masses lying around in peaceful bliss. Instead, paradise involves the joy of living and being unique, of leading the creation of your own life.

For some paradise involves exercise and exhilaration, sweat and satisfaction. For others, the same paradise is defined as the lone creativity of an artist, or the motivation of group energy to complete a project. We each have in front of us a world of resources and opportunity, and all we need to do is use it. By moving ourselves forward and creating a positive light for self, the rest of the world comes along. We each play our small role, and together we change the world. In chaos, there is opportunity.

Around the planet, we witness the magnitude of nature. We see the force of fire in solar flares. We feel the force of the earth in earthquakes and aftershocks. We witness the force of water with the tsunami, storm swells and floods. We are swept by the force of air from hurricanes, tornadoes and tropical storms. It is a time of great alchemy, and we adjust our powers with the planet.

The End of Days

Perhaps the end of days is like the end of school, where we graduate to the next level.
