Text Box: The world is a glorious thing. We have so much creative capability, and if we learn to use it, we could build a paradise. We can generate innovative solutions that move our vibration towards a higher vision. There are two elements required to assist change in vibration. First is to stimulate, to provide a shock or distraction that causes one to pause and refocus. The second element is for the stimulus to cause excitement, providing motivation to continue in that direction.

The daily pattern of vibration must be interrupted to allow change. The interruption can occur when a new concept is understood, when things don’t work out the anticipated way, when something new is introduced, or when another person provides a different perception. Whatever the source of the interruption, it encourages evaluation. With evaluation comes awareness, and with awareness comes options.

The challenge that many people have with their daily lives is the inability to disconnect. Once you can shift focus from current concerns and feelings, a higher plane is reached where you can look at a bigger picture. When you are able to identify how certain feelings and beliefs affect your behavior, it is possible to add choice. Though most feelings are real and based on perceptions and events, it is possible to influence future perceptions and events.

It may not be easy to suddenly shift your way of being. Habits form that dictate reactive behavior. When we are frustrated with delays in traffic, every little delay becomes even more frustrating. No matter how hard you try, anger may continually surface in certain situations. Once these reactive patterns have happened a few times, they become tendencies. Once tendencies become habits, we are stuck in a pattern. The important thing to realize is that remaining in a pattern is a choice that you can influence.

For change to take hold, the movement to awareness is only the first step. The second step requires excitement. When an option or choice is presented that creates excitement, we tend to follow it. There may be ten books on the shelf, but we only pick up one at a time. When choosing which book to pick up, you follow your excitement in that particular moment. It doesn’t mean that your choice would be the same at another time, just that your choice excites you the most now.

When you follow your excitement, one of two things happens. Either the choice becomes more exciting, or it becomes less exciting. When excitement wears off, it is usually because you have filled your need from that topic, and another more exciting topic has come along. On the other hand, when excitement continues to grow, attention becomes easier. Enthusiasm is the greatest motivator.

In our three-dimensional reality, we are often faced with topics or tasks that do not hold our interest. Of course, with anything there is choice. Occasionally more time is spent thinking about a task than the activity would have taken. Sometimes tasks become chores, and something to resist. Sometimes topics cause feelings we don’t like, and we choose to change topics. In any of these situations, we still have control over our perceptions and the actions that follow.

Let your excitement act like a beacon, guiding towards creation and fulfillment. Let the challenges in life act not as barriers but as signposts, providing you a moment to evaluate your existence and your direction. Perhaps the old saying ‘if it feels good, do it’ was not about hedonistic pleasure but about following your excitement. When everyone takes control of their creative powers, wonderful things can happen.
