Text Box: Sometimes when life seems difficult, we must look at the source of our concerns. No matter what appears to be the issue, it comes from within. No matter what seems to be missing from your life, the feelings of lack come from within. No matter what challenges come your way, the perception of those challenges come from within.

I have been reading a book about abundance, and the creation of money in your life. Lately I have been having financial challenges, and looking for work can be very frustrating. My recent lack of money has made paying bills difficult, and each day there are new bills in the mailbox. Even though I remain optimistic and hopeful that the universe has plans for me, ultimately I have been wondering when my attempts to create opportunities will result in an answer.

Then the book gave me the answer. I read the quote ‘by expressing and radiating your higher qualities of inner peace, joy, love, well-being, and aliveness, you become the source of your abundance.’ I immediately realized that I was feeling none of those feelings. My lack of money is not based on what the world has or has not given me. Instead, the challenges that I must address come from within.

I have also been experiencing a series of migraine headaches. Strangely enough, for the guy who teaches a seminar called ‘No More Headaches’, I have been waking up in the middle of the night in pain. I have been clenching my teeth while I sleep, and the pressure results in a headache. Upon waking up, and realizing that a headache has manifested, I go into my meditative routine and allow the tension to subside. I have kept with my pact of not taking pills, and have learned much more about headaches and why they occur.

Ultimately, all sources of a headache come from within. Stress caused by doubt, feelings of helplessness, and internal conflict has resulted in my increased tension, and it is this tension that leads to the headache. In addition, once the headache has manifested, the amount of agony experienced is directly related to your thoughts. If you think about the pain, or raise the questions that lead to your internal conflict, the headache increases. If instead you can settle the mind, focus on deep breathing, and massage the neck tension that leads to the headache, the pain will subside and go away.

When life seems challenging, it provides an opportunity to look deep within yourself. When we do, we find that all the answers come from within. The world you experience is a direct reflection of your own vibration. If you want to change the world, you have to change yourself first. You must first recognize your inner light, the beautiful source of your being. It is your inner light that reveals the wonder of your existence. It is your inner light that will provide you with the strength to create a glorious future.

Sometimes all aspects of life are not fun. But when you look within, you discover that it is not the world doing things to you. It is you doing things in the world, and the results can be directly related to your personal vibration. You are in control of yourself, and that is all that is needed to make change.
