Text Box: In the 1960’s, a simple strategy was developed for fighter-jet pilots by the American military. Recognizing the requirement of pilots to make quick decisions while still following general policies, the strategy was given the acronym OODA, which stands for Observe-Orient-Decide-Act. Once a vision had been communicated, the operating rule allowed pilots to do what was best for themselves as long as the action taken was also best for the group.

This past weekend, while offering advice to people experiencing challenges in their lives, I realized that OODA could also be applied in my role as lightworker. I had been explaining to someone that the best way to deal with challenges is to first work on self, enhancing personal balance. From there, power increases and external challenges have less influence. We gain power by staying within our power.

When working with your energy field, the process is to evaluate where you are, determine where you want to be, and to start moving in that direction. A simple moment of intentional re-vibration has tremendous influence. Though the external world may have influence, it is how we react to each stimulant that determines our experience. The application of OODA can help lightworkers stabilize their energy field and amplify light.

Observe: A key element of staying in the moment is to increase observational powers. Achieved simply through intent and practice, observation is enhanced by increasing scope to everything around you. In addition, it is important to release judgment. Learn to see with multiple perceptions and the story of life changes.

Orient: At all moments in time, the most important element is you. Your energetic vibration influences your environment; learning how to move into a strong and balanced condition can change your world. On a frequent basis, gain the habit of checking your own personal vibration. Whatever is going on, learning how to shift focus to your own field allows momentary disconnection and energetic empowerment. From there you can reconnect with the external world, more capable of having positive influence.

Decide: All decisions have an objective. Though immediate objectives can be determined ‘on the fly’, the achievement of long-term objectives should always be considered. By setting a vision of where (and who) you want to be, each little decision becomes easier. It becomes apparent whether a particular action or feeling is leading towards or away from your vision. Keep moving towards your vision and it shall manifest.

Act: In our three-dimensional world, all manifestation requires action. Sometimes action is required immediately, other times the situation is best served by waiting. Either way, ensure that your actions are in harmony with your desired long-term goals. If you wish your energetic field to be calm and powerful, then each moment moving in that direction increases its likelihood. If you wish to be successful, then move towards feelings of success. Conversely if moments of anger or fear or anxiety come to the surface, release of that energy serves to enhance personal balance.

There is a lot of swirling energy around the world today and change is imminent. When lightworkers apply the concepts of OODA and stay within their power, stable points of energy are created. While our chaotic world moves towards the vision of billions, the stable energy of lightworkers encourages a world of peace and hope. Make it so.
